A Big Empty Room Presents: Grunge & Greenfields
If you support local music and love the green fields and farms that border Petaluma and define us as an Agriculture Community, this event is for you. We hope you can join us for our very first “From a Big Empty Room”. Petaluma City Council Candidate Brian Barnacle and local musician Travis O’Donnell – homegrown Petaluma guys and longtime friends – will be mashing up Seattle Grunge Rock and Petaluma open space policies. Let's get grungy in the green fields Petaluma!
For years Petaluma has had a bustling local music scene. We have iconic venues like the Mystic and Phoenix theatres, hip newer venues like the Big Easy and 256 North, and several other venues that showcase local artists. Unfortunately, COVID has ground this beloved local industry to a halt, and local musicians are struggling. Not just that, local music lovers like Brian are also starving for the creative energy that live music offers.
From A Big Empty Room is a tasteful juxtaposition of different music genres and local politics, streamed live from local Petaluma music venues. Come check out Brian’s creative and collaborative side, learn about what is at in this election for Petaluma, and SUPPORT LOCAL MUSIC. Let’s have some fun and then vote for Brian on November 3rd!
